FEEDBACK

You are upbeat, encouraging, motivating, adaptable and accepting. most importantly though you link the mind body experience in an approachable way that doesn’t put people off

You motivate me to be a better person by using my body and tuning into my thoughts.

Your yoga classes are unique because of your voice and how you pay close attention to alignment ready to modify, correct or demonstrate for each pose. Your voice is calming, clear, and very alluring. You give very clear instructions on how to get into each pose so that anyone on each level can understand and flow into the pose. Ever since I took your class live in the studio I loved you as an instructor. You brought laughter and non judgement into the class. I was a little intimidated by all the seriousness and advanced yogis there and you made me feel more comfortable. So comfortable I can just laugh if I fall out of a pose and move on. So I knew I would love your virtual classes even more it makes it even more personable. You keep most of the same flows in your classes which makes it easy to see my growth in my practice and I appreciate that. But on the other end when you change and add new poses or a flow I get excited because it’s always something that will help me advance and feel more connected to my body. Looove “Yoga With Anysa” so grateful for you and your classes!

What makes your classes unique:
1) the personal touch - pre-class chats/checkins, pose adjustments, injury modifications and avoidance
(other teachers do some of this but you put a lot more energy/emphasis on this)
2) class evolution - changes in routines, trying new routines, poses, transitions
3) voice/body projection - from enthusiastic to an amazingly calming voice when in relaxation mode.
Helps inspire and relax.

DALE

3 reasons why I joined your classes:
- The good atmosphere: even if we are at home I feel that I am still sharing something with people. It’s very different from watching a yoga video on youtube. In your class we have the possibility of chat at the beginning, it’s like be part of a virtual community.
- Follow your schedule, helps me having a weekly routine and be persistent in the practice.
- during the class you always explain the benefit of the posture, this helps me to feel my body.
Infine, dato che ho ancora qualche difficoltà con l’inglese, apprezzo molto il fatto che tu possa correggermi in italiano. Seguendo le tue lezioni indirettamente faccio un esercizio per migliorarlo.

An Italian - American from the outskirts of Rome. Sporty and rebellious, I have always been one to push boundaries and seek the paths less travelled. After graduating with a degree in Fashion History and fast-forwarding through a Master's in Fashion Curation, I was fortunate to be able put my advanced degrees to use by curating inspiring exhibitions and museums. While on pause from my fashion career, I found myself on a detour to what has now become one of the most incredible paths I could have imagined...

Seeking a new adventure, I spent 2 months in an orphanage in Haiti teaching English, where I developed and led a successful fundraiser to raise the necessary funds to build a new dorm for the children. Invigorated, energised and deeply moved, I set off to see more of the world and its vast cultures. I spent nearly 1.5 years travelling around Southeast Asia, learned Reiki (L2) from the Master Luna Praya in Thailand before finding my way to India. Submerged in its rich culture of Yoga and Meditation, I lived in a few ashrams and participated in several 10 day silent meditation courses (Vipassana). My time in India was undoubtedly instrumental in guiding me on my Yoga journey.

Driven by my new-found passion, I returned to London where I studied under the senior teachers of Fierce Grace Yoga, including Yogis Michele Pernetta, Emma Croft, Karen Bellfield and Mark Oram. A student at heart, I’ve continued my development by completing Rainbow Kids Yoga Teacher Training, Chair Yoga Training and pre- and post-natal Yoga Teacher Training.

A winding journey has led me to where I am now and I am excited to continue to grow, learn, teach and practice with all of you.

I love teaching, I love yoga, and I love sharing the love.
