Chair Yoga is a modified practice suitable for anyone including those with limited mobility due to age or injuries, or in these cases recovering from COV19 and looking for a more gentle form of exercise. We start each class with a group chat to share our challenges and what we are working on. We then start the 45 minute practice to open up and stretch the joints as well as work on building muscle strength. The asanas are adapted to use a chair, helping facilitate flexibility and manoeuvrability in a way that is soft, gentle, supportive and beneficial.
